Safety Comes First
“In adventure activities, safety comes first and the fun second. Our objective is to make participants take part in the activities safely. So we give proper briefing and demonstration before every activity,” says Hari. To ensure maximum safety, all the instructors are trained from prestigious institutions like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) & Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM).
They are amply supported by support staff or junior instructors as they are called in Wildwoods who later goes on to learn the trade from the prestigious institutes with the financial assistance from Wildwoods. The emphasis on safety inspires confidence in the participants, which make them actively take part in the activities.
Based in Hyderabad, most of its events are of one day or two day durations conducted in close proximity to the city. The activities start in the morning 6.30 and ends by night 9.30 on the same day or the next day. The activities arranged are based on the requirements of the client and the participating team have a wide range of activities to choose from, which include trekking, rock climbing, rappelling, valley crossing, slack line, archery, zip line and much more in locations like Kondamadugu and Keesaragutta.
Having strategic tie ups based on locations with Hotels and Transport service providers ensure hassle free commutation and stay during the events. Every year new locations are added to ensure the events and locations do not get mundane. In depth reconnaissance of the new locations three four times means the trek routes, nearby facilities and geography are well worked out and ensures supreme comfort and safety for the participants.
