Hemalatha R. Yadki, FounderWhen it comes to fashion and textiles, India has a rich history and is still one of the world's biggest markets as well as exporters. Fashion has long been a focal industry in India due to the wide variety of cuts, colours, silhouettes, designs, and artistic expressions that come from the many regions of the nation. It should come as no surprise that the revenue in the Indian fashion industry is anticipated to reach $20.98 billion in 2023 and to expand at a rate of 13.67 percent per year, with a market volume of $35.03 billion anticipated by 2027. Breaking barriers and penetrating this competitive market, Vorlilady was founded in 2012 by Hemalatha R Yadki. Vorlilady is an everyday casual fashion-wear brand based in Ranebennur, Karnataka.

To make fashion accessible to all, Vorlilady has expanded its footprint to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India. “The pursuit of an individual and personal style becomes so much more important for every woman because without saying a word your clothes tell a story of who you are. So say something interesting while wearing fashion apparel”, shares Hemalatha R Yadki, Founder, Vorlilday.

With this ambition in mind, Vorlilady has set up a unique facility whereby the team designs and makes the clothes. This helps the brand ensure that the quality standards are maintained across all the brand’s offerings and through every step of the process from measurement specifications, to dyeing, washing, and shrinkage checks. The fabrics used such as viscose and lycra are LIVA certified which ensures the highest quality of materials.

“We have a very strong quality team and we ensure that all products manufactured by us meet the highest standards. We follow very strict quality checks as well as ensure absolute hygiene in production and packaging. Having been supplying exporters
earlier, ensuring quality has now become an ingrained habit”, further shares Hemalatha.
