Separator
Vrinda Agrawal, FounderWhile working in the retail of fashion business for the past 9 years catering to the multitude through Miraangi(Jaipur's new couture and only multi designer destination), Vrinda Agrawal identified a huge void in the market for women’s ethnic wear which is 100 percent cotton, trendy and good quality at the same time.To fill this void, Vrinda laid the foundation to ‘Mayori Conscious Clothing Conscious Giving’. Mayori addresses the quality & design demands of women and at the same time meets reasonable pricing as opposed to cheap. The current generation of customers look for long term use which can be guaranteed only by good quality fabric. More so, with today’s women carrying an uber sense of styling, Mayori has constantly strived to meet those demands. Mayori offers wardrobe essentials which can be treasured for years and are easy to maintain and are well priced, thereby bringing complete sense of satisfaction to the Indian buyers.

A Tint Of Japan
Mayori Conscious Clothing Conscious Giving is a fresh international take on Jaipur handblock printing. This firm, in an exceptional approach toward Indian fashion, is amalgamating traditional printing techniques with Japanese sensibilities of color and design to give a refreshing look to ethnic wear. The garments are all made in fine cotton which is anti-allergic and biodegradable. Mayori works with Japanese textile designer Sueyoshi San who has worked with Jaipur exporters for the past 25 years. Sueyoshi San has extended his kind assistance by sharing his knowledge and sensibilities in creating Mayori. The garments are tailored in contemporary silhouettes following international standards of quality and following strict factory norms of zero child labor.

“Mayori caters to the urban Indian women who is very modern in her outlook but is proud about her Indian roots. She can easily slip in and out of many roles she plays in a day effortlessly, being a caring mother to her children, a dutiful daughter or daughter in law, to a corporate go getter to chilling with friends in the night. Mayori’s outfits become a perfect choice as they are contemporary and stylish, antiwrinkle in nature can be washed at home so no dry cleaning bills”, says Vrinda Agrawal, Founder, Mayori. The outfits designed by Mayori have pockets for easy use and are devoid of color bleed or shrink when washed. All the garments are non-transparent eliminating the need for layering in warm climates.

Introducing Slow Fashion
Mayori, as an active fashion entity, stays up to date with the latest customer requirements and understands the wardrobe needs of Indian women. Establishing itself as an essential Brand, Mayori has introduced a unique concept of Slow Fashion merging

Grey Gota Cotton Kurta With Sharara And Dupatta
both traditional and contemporary styles. At Mayori Conscious Clothing Conscious Giving, fashion experts are creating wardrobe staples that are contemporary and can be one’s go-to clothes anytime of the year. “We create sensible and stylish clothing which can last for years and encourage you to mend and repair if there is any wear and
tear”, adds Vrinda. The Bottom Bar offers a range of trendy pants, salwars, cigarette pants, palazzos, and skirts which come in neutral colors and can be teamed up with a range of kurtas and tunics so that one doesn’t have to buy matching sets of bottoms and same with dupattas. The fabric used to manufacture the clothes is 100percent sustainable, biodegradable cotton, which can all be washed at home, saving the clothes from drycleaning chemicals and the hefty dry clean bills. Demonstrating not just fashionable, but economic manufacturing, Mayori upcycles all the left over pieces of fabric to make a seasonal range of kidswear. The same are also used them to accessorize the garment line. More so, as part of the conscious giving endeavours, Mayori donates table napkins, tray covers and mats made out of the left over pieces of fabric. Where fast fashion encourages one self to use & throw and buy newer more fashionable clothes frequently, Mayori encourages to buy fewer good quality contemporary clothes which will last for years and can be used frequently after a quick wash at home.

Mayori promotes 'slow fashion' and abstains from providing runaway rip offs, contrary to what fast fashion does. “We manufacture with love and care; classic, timeless pieces which are styled keeping in mind urban preferences and choices. Only a capsule collection every season is presented keeping the trends in mind which is made with the help of a young design team which picks out silhouettes and trends that blend with Mayori’s sensibility”, explains Vrinda.

Not Just The Right, But Eccentric Collections
The apparel market is overwhelming with low price collections, which looks attractive at the first wear but loses its appeal after the first wash or dryclean. Mayori feels the need to educate the buyers about good quality, skin friendly, biodegradable and tastefully made clothes. Therefore, Mayori ran a campaign in Bengaluru called ‘Test a Mayori’. In this campaign, participants were allowed to take home a garment of their choice for a week; wear it, wash it and if they liked it they could purchase it with a discount or just return it. This registered a huge success showcasing Mayori’s stand towards quality.

Mayori is extremely sensitive to its customer needs & feedback and therefore quickly adapts within the brand’s parameters to any requirements which are consistent in order to enhance the customer’s experience. Mayori offers a range of classic kurtas and their trendier variations in a range of prints and solid colors. The prints are unique in their color combinations and away from the regular prints that are customary of block printing. Mayori avails more sophisticated color palettes like powder pinks, sky blues, verte greens, lavenders and much more. More so, as mentioned earlier, the Japanese mori pants have been one of Mayori’s best sellers, inspired by its association with Sueyoshi San. Also ‘The Bottom Bar’ with its choices of afghani pants to lace palazzos to potli pants is the top favourite with the clients. The Bottom Bar also helps shoppers to personalize their outfit with a choice of lowers never seen before. A range of slim fits, straight cut pants, skirts, pallazos and shararas allows the buyers to enhance their look. The multiuse range of dupattas with intricate detailing allows adding classy finishing touches to stand apart and create a style statement while being supremely comfortable in all cotton.
